  1. Hi Tori! Great video! It sounds like you had such a great time on this last rotation. I am super jealous you got to go on a community outing! That sounds like so much fun, and I am encouraged to hear that is a legitimate option to have as a treatment session, even in a hospital setting! I am also really excited to learn more about the management side of OT, I feel like I learned a lot about how insurance can help clients, but sometimes hold them, or therapists, back. I also think you made a really great point on positioning equipment for transfers, I think that is something we all could use a little refresher on. Great job Tori, can’t wait to hear more about your rotation after break!

  2. Tori,
I loved hearing about your experience! I appreciated you talking about how the facility you were in did a lot of educating. I think educating clients is so important because sometimes it is just assumed that the client will pick up on the things you are doing with them during their treatment sessions. However, talking with the client and explaining what you are doing and why you are doing it is so important for carry over for when the client transitions to a new setting. Further, I loved hearing about the outing you went on for a treatment session! It sounded very client-centered and so much fun! Great job Tori, enjoy your summer!
